Should you have the energy to climb its 247 stairs, you will reach its top at 56 metres.
Built between 1862 and 1864 in Paris, it is the first steel lighthouse built in France. Disassembled into 1265 parts then shipped by sea to New Caledonia, it was rebuilt on Amédée islet in 1865.
You will follow the reef and enjoy lunch on turquoise bleue water inhabited by a multitude of multi colour fish.
